Len Watson BCA
Len has been in practice in Rotorua since 1977. He has specialised in matters relating to taxation, formation and operation of family trusts, general computerised accounting systems and the resolution of financial problems and conflicts.
Outside of work activities, he has had a near lifetime involvement in the sport of athletics, in earlier years at a national competitive level, and thereafter in administration of the sport including 25 years involvement in the organisation of Rotorua's annual marathon, Chairmanship for a number of years of the regional athletic administration body (Athletics Waikato Bay of Plenty) and a 4 year stint on the Board of Athletics New Zealand (including as a two year term as its deputy chairman).
In recent years this sports involvement has diminished somewhat and he can now be seen astride his mountain bike careering around the multitude of fantastic tracks that have been created in the Rotorua's famed mountain biking haven - the Redwoods Forest.
Anne Stewart B Ag Sc, BBS, ACA
Anne commenced employment with the firm from the day the doors were opened in 1996. Prior to then, she had extensive accounting experience in both commercial and public practice environments (including several years working in Australia). Anne is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Anne is the person with whom clients have most contact, given her responsibility for dealing with not only client annual accounting requirements but also those many other areas that accountants get involved in (and not always directly accounting related). Anne has developed a special interest in ACC matters, having previously had many years of involvement in a local ACC advocacy group. As a result, she has developed a particular expertise in ACC matters including those relating to the complexities of the ACC levy system.
Allan joined the firm in early 2015, in a part time capacity, and deals with administrative functions with respect to both the practice and our clients. He is well experienced in a range of office management and general accounting functions and when in the office, is likely to be the person to answer the phone or greet people at our reception.
